At Grimsby Baptist Church, we’re passionate about walking alongside the next generation. Encouraging, equipping, and empowering youth to grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and know they are deeply loved by God. Our heart is to create a space where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to live out their faith boldly. 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Connections
Connections meets every other Sunday morning. A space created just for older teens to dive deeper into the sermon passage, ask real questions, and explore what faith means in their world today. It’s more than just a Bible study; it’s a time to connect with each other, grow in understanding, and be part of a community where curiosity and conversation are encouraged.
Ignite is our youth group hang out for young people aged 11 to 16. It meets on a Monday evening from 7pm - 8.30pm. The main activities include games, sports, crafts and cooking. During the evening one of the leaders will lead a focus session, discussing some aspect of the Christian life. Other events include trips out and a weekend away. rooted
Rooted is a discipleship group for young people in school years 9-13. We meet in various houses across town. We spend time exploring God’s word and chat about how we can apply it to our lives today. There is always time for a couple of games and some snacks too! We meet every Sunday 6:30pm-8pm.
