Prayer
About Prayer
As Christians, both individually and as God’s gathered people, are given the privilege and responsibility of communicating with the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
The Lord Jesus, sitting at the Father’s ‘right hand’ as a go-between ensures our prayers are heard perfectly, and responded to perfectly, in accordance to God’s will.
God ordains prayer as a means to accomplish His will. We can be confident that prayer does change things, including our own hearts.
As we pray for one another, we ask God for the supernatural resources that we need to live for His glory, to serve one another and to be His witnesses in the world.
As C H Spurgeon said, he considered the faithful, praying members of the London Metropolitan Tabernacle to be “the powerhouse of this church.” The “engine room,” as he called it. As do we!
We believe prayer is vital to the health of the church. Come and be a part of the ‘power house’ of the church.
We hold two evenings of prayer each month:
Online – first Wednesday of every month 7.30pm – 8.30pm
At church – third Sunday of every month 6.30pm – 7.30pm
We'd love to pray for you
