Anyone attending GBC is welcome to join a group. It is a wonderful way to develop friendships and nurture loving family relationships as well as exploring more deeply the word of God and its application to our daily lives, check out the different groups below

Groups run on different days throughout the week to help ensure there'll be one that fits with your diary!

Most of the groups run in the evening around 7- 7.30. We also have Life Groups that meet in the afternoon.

Some groups are held at the GBC building, but most are hosted in different homes across the town.
Grow Together
At Grimsby Baptist Church, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Our Life Groups are designed to be a place where you can grow in your faith alongside others who are on the same journey. Whether you’re new to following Jesus or have walked with Him for years, these groups offer a supportive space to ask questions, share experiences, and pray with one another. As we gather regularly, we deepen our understanding of God’s word and encourage each other to grow in Christ’s likeness.
Life Together
Life isn’t meant to be lived alone—and at GBC, we want everyone to feel like family. Life Groups are a wonderful way to build lasting friendships, support each other through challenges, and celebrate life’s joys together.
These groups reflect the heart of our church: loving, gospel-centred community where everyone is welcome. No matter your age or stage in life, there’s a group for you. Together, we live out the love of Christ in practical, everyday ways.
Learn Together
In our Life Groups, we don’t just read the Bible—we learn how to live it out. Each group spends time exploring scripture and discovering how it speaks into our daily lives. We engage in meaningful discussions, ask honest questions, and grow in our ability to apply God’s truth to real-world situations. At Grimsby Baptist Church, we are passionate about seeing people become grounded in the word and equipped to live boldly for Jesus in our community and beyond.

Youth life groups
rooted
Rooted is a discipleship group for young people in school years 9-13. We meet in various houses across town. We spend time exploring God’s word and chat about how we can apply it to our lives today. There is always time for a couple of games and some snacks too! We meet every Sunday 6pm-8pm.
