About Puppet Power
Puppet Power was founded in 1998 by Ian Jones. Their mission, to present the Gospel in an exciting and relevant way to today’s society, wherever they are and whatever understanding they have.
(And yes this is Ian wearing a gorilla suit in the hot summer during a Puppet Power performance)
What we do
We have been touring the UK performing in front of many people promoting the Gospel and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. We have visited retirement homes, churches, schools, outdoor festivals and had the privilege of performing at the Puppet & Creative Ministry Festival on numerous occasions.
Puppet Power International
Early 2008 we took a step of faith to go out to Burkina Faso in Africa. During the time there we performed 17 times in front of 1000’s of people in just one week. The area is a very Muslim rich environment making this a great opportunity to witness to them. This was only the beginning of Gods plan for the team and since then we have visited Burkina Faso twice more in 2010 and 2013, also Romania in 2009 and 2011 and Bulgaria in 2016. We took a team out again to Bulgaria in July 2018

Where do we perform?
We have had the privilege of performing at a huge variety of events over the years and would love to be part of your next event to come and perform, entertain and share the gospel. Below are a few events and ideas where puppet power have enjoyed performing at before.
church services
We can provide the teaching part of all age/family or special celebration services using the puppets with parody and other songs as well as drama, story telling and gospel illusions.
retirement homes
We love visiting our local care homes, using parodies, old hymns and popular songs from their past like Vera Lynn’s – We’ll meet again. The colourful puppets bring these songs alive in a way that encourages everyone to join in and sing along. Re-telling bible stories at Christmas and Easter and at other times remind the residents of familiar stories they know.
outreach events
Puppet Power can add that live theatre to an event with a positive Christian message. Fun and engaging but always sharing the truth of the Gospel.
school assemblies
Our themed school assemblies are always popular as we share through puppets, music and stories, bible stories and how they are still important to all of us today.
outdoor festivals
The puppets can add a real buzz and attraction to your outdoor event. We always strive to both entertain and share the Gospel message in an engaging, memorable and non-threatening way.
kids & additional needs groups
From nurseries to adult additional needs groups, puppet power will tailor their programme to meet your needs and make the programme or workshop as fun and engaging as possible.
